My brother leaves this upcoming Tuesday to head off to Peru. He bought a one-way ticket to Lima and plans to be there for who knows how long. He said his first priority is to teach himself how to surf, and then to find some rural community and immerse himself into that. I am very excited for him and hope that this journey lands him in a place to grow and learn and become an even more amazing person. I am a bit sad that he will miss so much of Davin growing up over the next few (or several) months, but I will make sure he knows who his uncle is :) We love you Tio!!!
To say farewell to Tyler we had dinner at Tomo's last night and it was Davin's first "meal" in public...hahaha. I wasn't nervous to feed in public, I was more concerned about not making others feel uncomfortable. But it was actually pretty easy and I was able to eat while he ate - it was great! He was such a good boy that night and Grandma had fun showing him off!
Oh, and I should mention that as I was changing him in the bathroom that night - his umbilical cord fell off! Yay!! I am happy to not have to worry about cleaning it anymore :)

Tyler is a nut. I don't know anyone besides him that would buy a one way ticket to another country and not know when he's coming back. He's crazy:)) I would be way to homesick.
