I wanted to update you all on the rice cereal addition to Davin's diet. After the first attempt we tried it again a few days later and it was still a no-go. He was even less interested in it the second time as compared to the first. So we decided to give it a few more days....
In the meantime, Tavis left for Kentucky for a Waste Expo with his dad, leaving Davin and I all to ourselves. It would not have been too bad besides the fact that Davin did not sleep well - at all. For the past week he had been sick and was not sleeping well so most nights he would end up in our bed just so he would sleep. Well, I think he got used to that and expected it while Daddy was gone as well. It was pretty rough on me, but I made it through. Since all the guys were gone I spent every night down at Tasha's and had dinner with them - it was wonderful!
One of the nights I decided to try his rice cereal again and he LOVED it!!! Woohoo!! I made it a bit thicker this time and he had no problem finishing off the entire bowl! Since then he has been having rice cereal once a day in the evenings and seems love it still. Yes!!
Another new trick he decided to accomplish while Tavis was gone is rolling from his back to his tummy. He has been trying to do it for a while now and just now got the hang of it. Once he finally got it down, he rolled all the way across Tasha's living room - it was hilarious!! Now that he has become "mobile" we have to watch what we leave on the ground because he can get to it....and shove it in his mouth - his new addiction too!
