Well, to be honest we did not do anything exciting. In fact we did not even get Davin an Easter basket...bad parents, I know. Hahaha! Both sets of grandparents got Davin gifts though - new books, clothes, and toys. It is always fun getting new things. I do plan on doing a basket for him in the future, its just he has no idea what is going on yet, so we felt it was kind of pointless....
We did have brunch with Tavis' family though, and had a yummy ham dinner with both our families that night as well. So at least we did something :)
Besides the few Easter activities, we did manage to get a lot done around the house this past weekend. We finally got the upstairs rec room near complete and it looks so good!! We had been wanting to paint some of the walls for a while now, so I finally went and got the paint and managed to complete it all in just a few hours. We decided to paint just one wall to showcase all of Tavis' race stuff. It looks so nice and I know he is very pleased with how it all turned out. We also finished staining the terrace and it looks amazing! Now if we could only get the plaster and floor finished....soon, very soon.....
