4th of July

We made it up to the lake again for the 4th of July - yay! We were having a really good time and enjoying ourselves until Tav got called home to a fire. Dang fires!! He ended up leaving late Saturday night so that he could be home to deliver portable toilets to Willowcreek in the morning. We were sad to see him go, but we still managed to have some fun :D
I have started to take up "surfing"....but only behind the ski boat. It is a blast and doesn't wrench on my body like other boating sports. I was able to surprise Tavis and show him that I can let go of the rope (finally!) and just ride the wave....and yes, he was impressed. He knows how much of a chicken I can be sometimes! As for Davin - he isn't so impressed yet - this is what he did while mommy surfed -


Here is a pretty cool, but blurry, picture of a bald eagle. We saw it on the shore with its baby (near the shoreline) and it was teaching it how to fly. It was pretty awesome!


Play time on the Wrights swimdeck!! Davin loves the water!!
