Davin is WALKING!! Okay, not all the time yet, but very close. His first official day of "walking" was on my dad's birthday - September 16th. Tavis and I have been working with him on walking, and he was getting the hang of it but would only walk between Tav and I. On the evening of the 16th we had my family up for dinner and we were showing off how well D was able to take a few steps now. We were so proud. He happily showed off his skills a few times back and forth and was done. So we let him play....next thing we see is him take his first true steps (without any encouragement) from his train to the coffee table. Did I say we were proud earlier? Well, we were REALLY proud this time!! We all clapped and cheered, it was pretty neat. I am glad my family got to witness that moment.
Since that night, D has been all over the place. No matter where he goes he walks with his arms up in the air, like he is ready to take flight or something. It is too funny! Each day he gets more and more brave and tries to walk further than the last time. Everyone says once they start to walk, they are all over the place. It is so true, but it is so much fun to watch!!
